Eric Thornton – Founder
Born in Dayton, Ohio and raised an expat in various countries. Eric is an aviation geek since inception, his dad was a pilot. Also a longtime computer dork, Eric has been simming since FS1 and a longtime combat simmer since Microprose F-15E on the Commodore 64 to the latest DCS A-10C. Eric has been in the virtual airline hobby more than a decade, started off as BAV025. He decided he wanted something with more variety and maybe a bit less regimented. So he created (with a lot of help) a virtual airline conglomerate which is now the Flying Tigers Group.

Christian Chaix – President
Born in Valence (France) and now living in Toulouse, Christian has only been a major aviation enthusiast since high school, and has now gone pro around an european airplane manufacturer. Christian volunteered to help out with running this crazy association of virtual airline pilots back in 2006, which followed by packing additional features in it. Now he's a proud private pilot and aircraft restorer. The F-104 in the picture has been in works since 2005, and is now nearing completion.

Markus was born in the late 80's in Bonn (Germany). While still being in secondary school he created the first - from nowadays point of view - really basic ACARS that always has been specific for FTG. Later FTG-ACARS was improved and cool new features got added like prefiling, LiveACARS, Google Earth Views and Debriefing.
These days Markus is also managing parts of the FTG web systems, besides studying in B.Sc. Informatik at RWTE²H.
