We've been on a roll lately adding airlines as affiliates. This means all their routes can be flown without gateway restrictions. We've added several airlines with the 737NGX in mind.

 - Caribbean Airlines / Air Jamaica

- LAN Colombia while they still have the NG

- Flydubai

- Qatar Airways

- Aerolineas Argentinas

- Lion Air

- Webjet

We've also added the following classic airlines

- Swissair from the '50s to the '90s

- Alitalia from 1995

For Cargo we've added:

- EVA Air Cargo

- Saudi Arabian Cargo

- Cargojet

Three new affiliates have joined the Flying Tigers Group. The three airlines are Spirit Airlines, Frontier Airlines and on March 6 Nok Air will be a new affiliate. This gives our members 3 new LCCs with many interesting routes and some really cool liveries. Repaints are available for all three airlines and there's some nice scenery for KDEN and KFLL from Imaginesim and FSDreamTeam.

We are thrilled to bring the legendary classic airline Pan Am to the FTG family. One if the pioneer airlines, a truly global airline with a huge route network and many interesting aircraft types throughout it's history. From Boeing 377 to the 747-100, Pan Am always had some interesting Clippers in the air.  This is a classic VA and we've been working on their schedules for a long time, since before the "incident" and now we're finally ready. We even have Pan Am cargo routes with the 707, 727 and 747. Over the next months we will be adding more and more classic schedules for Pan Am. Right now we have schedules for 1947, 1978, 1985 & 1987. We have their schedule from 1939 and also 50s and 60s which we will be working on next for some interesting 707 routes.  Enjoy and hopefully we'll see FTG tigers flying these classic routes. For these classic routes please use Standard Flight Levels.

The updated FTG Ops Manual Revision 14 is available for download.

We are also overhauling all of our classic schedules. First up are classics for British Airways Concorde routes across the world, many thanks to Malcom Wood for these. Next we added classic routes for Cathay Pacific from the 1950s to the 1960s. Thanks to the guys at Qantas Virtual we added schedules from 1969 and 1987. Then we added some really interesting schedules for the Boeing 377 Stratocruiser for United, Northwest and Pan Am; perfect for wonderful A2A model.

Next Sunday, Sept. 25 we will be announcing a surprise addition to FTG. Stay tuned.

We are happy to announce that the Flying Tigers Group is now open to the public. It has been a long road but this was all possible thanks to the entire management team for making it happen. Keep in mind this is a work in progress, the prefile/briefing is getting upgraded. Classics are getting an overhaul, some routes may be missing, etc, etc. If it's broke we know and we are working on it. Anything else just contact management. Blue skies and have fun.

Registration for new members is closed until we officially reopen. We expect to open early September and we will make the announcement when this happens. The final phase of working out all the bugs is in progress and the rebuild is progressing nicely. Thanks for your patience.

After a long hiatus FTG is beggining to rumble once again. We are in the final phase of preparation for the FTG relaunch. Some of what you'll see looks the same but there will be some new as well.

Markus has already finished FTG ACARS V3.1 and that is being tested. This portal is in the works with all kinds of possibilities for the future. All the news and updates will be posted right here in this blog. We'll see if we can intergrate the portal user database with our virtual pilot member database, something we're looking into. Also in development is our very own FTG Wiki. Instead of having a user manual we'll have all of our rules and regulations right on the wiki. This will be much more convenient for management to update and for change control.

Re: FTG is Now Officially Open
All the old accounts were destroyed. Everyone needs to sign up for a new account. I just tested the sign up process worked. The only buy I know of is if you try to insert a minus - into your password it doesn't work. Anyway if you still have issues signing up send me an email at: admin@flyingtigersgroup.org

Thanks
Re: FTG is Now Officially Open
Hello
It's great to see this website running again! I was an old pilot for CX-VA (CX500), but the sad thing is i cannot login to my old account, i didn't change my password. I tried to register another account, passed the exam and filled in the form and then it said 'pilot insertion error' when i submitted it, password recovery function doesn't work either, haven't receive any password reminder email at all.

Please help!
Re: FTG is Now Officially Open
Okay it's working fine now, there was a problem with my password and the head of CPA-VA fixed that for me. Now I'm able to login. Thanks a lot for your help.
Re: FTG is Now Officially Open
Nope, same error as before.

And I even cannot register with another email-address as your terms&conditions say, that free-email-addresses by free providers aren't allowed. The address I've completed my registration with is the one from my internet provider.

The message I'm receiving when trying to login is:
"Unable to login: please check username or password.
If you lost your username or password please contact management to get them again."

So maybe it'd just be it if you reset the password I have and I'll give it another try. If it doesn't work with the new password, I have completely no clue what the problem is about.
Re: FTG is Now Officially Open
I disabled spam filtering, see if you can get through now.
Re: FTG is Now Officially Open
Did that already, but it's returning all the time. Maybe you have to address me first so that the system realizes there shouldn't be a junk-filter on my email-addres or so.

Re: FTG is Now Officially Open
Hi there,

I've tried to get an access to the CathayPacific-VA 2 days ago. I've passed the exam and then filled in the data. After clicking on Next there was a message saying I'm now registered and could use my account.
But that's not it.
I haven't even received a confirmation email.

Maybe I'm not active or my email-address is not correct?
If so please correct it.
My passport is "CX010".

Please answer,

Thoren
